  • Private Life

I just noticed that my last two entries have been private ones. I can’t help but wonder if that makes a statement about the way I’ve felt much of the time lately. Life in guarded mode. I’m pretty sure I don’t like it at all.

I just made them public. Who am I if I can’t blog the real me, blahs and all?

  • Transitions are seldom easy and often require a lot of private reflection.

  • Hello dear lady!

I’m coming back to blog a little… I miss my Xanga! ha!  I saw your title “Private Life” and thought that maybe you will write about it someday… sounds very intriguing!

    Love you!

Thanks, my friend. Good to see you back here, too! I’m blogging some over on Blogger, but I have a lifetime membership here so I try to keep coming back pretty often and at least keeping some kind of updates going. Who knows? Maybe one day I’ll be back in full swing with it again. It could happen. :)

  • I’m praying for you, girl… I hope everything is okay… I’m sensing that you are troubled… maybe I should go over to Blogger and see what you’ve been writing about! ha!

Or maybe you can message or email me and tell me about it… not trying to pry, just concerned…

    Love you!

  • Dear Lisa,

I’m coming back from one of my many hiatuses. I guess you have completely abandoned Xanga for Facebook. Well, I do post an RSS feed of my Xanga entries on FB, so perhaps you’ll catch some of them on your “newspage” or whatever they call it. You were the person who turned me on to Xanga in the first place, back in 2004 when we belonged to the same poetry and writing groups on Yahoo.

Hope this finds you in better spirits, and ready to face 2011 with a bright and shiny attitude.

I haven’t abandoned Xanga totally, just have been absent for a while. There is so much of my heart and history here, and sometimes I’m a little guarded when it comes to opening up this much of me for the public eye. I almost never blog on Facebook, but I do blog at Blogger. I guess that is more comfortable because there is less of my “guts” there. Not sure if that makes sense or not. Anyway, it’s always good to “see” you again, my old friend (age of friendship, not of person).
    Love,
    Blue

Thanks so much for being concerned for me. We’ve been dealing with some things in our family, a relationship issue where our son was being hurt badly and we’re trying to walk through the last stages of the resolution of it all. It’s been an interesting road. God is good, though, and He will see us through. We are of strong ilk, and we’ll be okay.
    Love you, my friend!
