  • Peace

There are times when I’m pretty sure
what I’m experiencing is God’s “peace that passes understanding”. There really
isn’t any other way to describe the feeling of calm when everything around you
is in chaos and you just feel God’s hand on your shoulder calming you and
whispering that it’s all going to be okay, because even though we can’t see the
    whole picture, He can.

There’s a cool breeze blowing through
the house today from a passing cold front. It’s been so terribly hot here for
the past few days, I’m really enjoying the coolness.

    The kids are goofing around
making lunch for themselves and the two little ones we babysit on Mondays.
Trevor is singing at the top of his lungs, moving fluidly from “Hot Stuff” to
“You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman”. Little Joshie is yelling that he is “hungee” and Girlie is beseeching him to take a seat and be patient. Then Uncle Nat (Mattie) steps in and takes control of the situation, seating the aforementioned hungeeman to wails of “No!!!! I don’t wanna sit down!”

    And
I sit here marveling at the love of God that holds us together when everything
seems to be blowing in every direction and we don’t know what’s going to happen
    next. Thankfully, He does.

  • god has great plans for you, i just know it.  he keeps you placed on my heart and i know he is taking you places you can only imagine.  simply trust and obey.

  • Wow, I didn’t know you guys were moving back.  I’ve been out of the loop while I was on vacation.  Your faith and willingness to follow where God leads is inspiring.  I hope you know that.  I’ll be praying.

You have no idea how nice it is to hear that. You can probably imagine some of the things we’re hearing. :o )

    Love you, girl.

Thank you, my friend. You always seem to “get” me more than the average person. Maybe one day we’ll actually get to meet face to face. :o )

    Love,
